Free - Quilt Block Challenge

Looks like we are nearing the end of the month once again. How did we get here so fast? Not sure about that, but what I am sure of is this means we will be awarding 2 lucky winners of our monthly challenge at Quilting Weekly.

May's quilt block challenge was determined by the members. Each member was to post a personal goal of how many blocks they wanted to finish by the end of the month, then post the finished blocks. Pretty easy right?

Everyone who did this will be entered into a random draw for a free quilting class from Quilting Weekly, and they will be sent a packages of Printed Treasures fabric sheets! But it didn't stop there. For the first time we are going add a viewers choice award, so there will be a second winner this month too! This is where you can help us.

All you need to do, is go to the forum and look through the photos to pick your favorite blocks. Then send me the name of the user. I don't want these posted on the forum, so that I can surprise the winner. You can send you votes to me by email, which can be found on here under my profile. Or if you join our website you can send me a private message right from Quilting Weekly. (My user is "Chris")

Please help us pick our winner. Go vote now! The voting will close as of June 6th, 2010.

(photo above was posted by one of our members..........."Anita". Aren't these lovely blocks?)

Next Months Challenge:

If you want to get in our challenge for next month, you will need to join the website to post on the forum, which is free. I suggest you visit the "June Challenge" post to see the rules. They are pretty simple, it will still be a block challenge, but I added a new twist this month. There are even more ways to win!!

We already have several challengers who posted their goals. I love to see ambitious quilters! Won't you join in the fun? June Quilt block challenge is also free..........but you still need to join the website to be able to post. This can be done from this blog (with the form at the top, or directly from Quilting Weekly)

Good luck to all the challengers!!
