Mystery Quilt Progress

Looks like we are getting closer to our goal. The Mystery of the Five and Dime is almost ready for sign ups.  Registrations will be starting soon.

Yesterday I got the first "clue" uploaded and the second one will be up today. The registration/sales page is done, and just needs a few more technical bits to get it ready for you.

I am so excited about this project and hope it goes well. Caron Carlson is a personal friend of mine, and this is her first project she is doing for the website. We have never done a mystery quilt project so I have nothing to compare with. This process is band new, and if it goes well I know we will repeat this type of class again.

Mystery quilt projects are fun because of the element of surprise in the end. You are sent clues every couple of weeks and you have to just follow these instructions without knowing how they all fit together. The finished quilt is not revealed until the very end! The Mystery of the Five and Dime has 5 different sets of clues and the the "Big Reveal".  How cool is this idea??

If you are new to my blog, or not on the Quilting Weekly email list yet, I suggest you sign up using the form at the top so you don't miss out on the release of this fun project.

Stay tuned as we anticipate registration to open by the end of the week.
